MFEA organized ceremony marking 20th anniversary of Croatia’s international recognition

The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs organized a ceremony 15 January 2012 in Zagreb’s Petar Preradović Square to mark the 20th anniversary of Croatia’s international recognition.

The ceremony is part of a series of events that will mark the 20th anniversary Croatia’s international recognition during this year.

Addresses were delivered by Croatian President Ivo Josipović, Parliament Speaker Boris Šprem, Prime Minister Zoran Milanović, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusić, and Danish Ambassador to Croatia Bo Eric Weber, acting as a representative of the EU presiding country.

Also attending the ceremony were other Croatian ministers, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps in Croatia.

The ceremony also saw stage appearances by the Croatian Navy’s a cappella group “Sv. Juraj”, the Croatian Radio Television Choir and Vanna.
