The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs harshly condemns the unveiling of a memorial plaque for Puniša Račić in Slatina, Montenegro

The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs harshly condemns the unveiling of a memorial plaque for Puniša Račić in Slatina, Montenegro, and invited Montenegro’s Ambassador Boro Vučinić to hand him a protest letter. We expect the relevant Montenegrin institutions to distance themselves from this act in the spirit of good neighbourliness and appropriate measures be taken to remove the disputed memorial plaque, as it is acts like these that push us away from the goals that both countries’ governments should be striving for.
