MFAEI’s Diplomatic Academy organized lecture by President of Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs, Lu Qiutian

On Tuesday, 28 February 2006, organized by the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the President of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs and former Chinese Ambassador to Germany, Luxembourg, and Romania, Lu Qiutian, held a lecture entitled Chinese Foreign Policy and Internal Affairs, with Special Emphasis on China’s Development

In his lecture, Qiutian especially commented on the spectacular results of China’s economic development. He pointed out the success of China’s economic growth by 9.2% in 2005, bringing his country to the 4th place among the world’s economic powers, in which significant part was played by the Chinese foreign policy based on the principle of “more friends, less enemies” in the world.

Apart from MFAEI’s officials, the lecture saw the presence of numerous foreign diplomats accredited to Croatia.
