MFAEI’s Diplomatic Academy organised lecture by Siniša Petrović and Tatjana Josipović

Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration organised on Friday, 24 February 2006, as a part of the Series of Lectures by Members of the Team for Croatia’s Accession Negotiations with the EU, a lecture by Siniša Petrović and Tatjana Josipović entitled The Right of Establishment and Free Movement of Services – Croatia’s Challenges

Head of the Diplomatic Academy’s Department for Diplomatic Training and Publishing Željko Vukosav opened the lectures by Siniša Petrović, associate professor at the Department for Commercial and Company Law of the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, acting as a member of the Negotiating Team for chapters The Right of Establishment and Free Movement of Services, the Company Law, and the Intellectual Property Law, and Tatjana Josipović, professor at the Civil Law Department of the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, acting as the head of the working group for the preparations for the negotiations on chapter Right of Establishment and Free Movement of Services.

Clarifying the terms of the right of establishment and free movement of services within the chapter on the Right of Establishment and Free Movement of Services, the lecturers explained the differences between the said chapter and the chapter of the free movement of persons, i. e. workers.

The Series of Lectures by Members of the Team for Croatia’s Accession Negotiations with the EU began end-2005 and is designed for MFAEI and state administration officials.
