MFAEI notified by Italian MFA about release of Buccaneer, whose crew included one Croatian citizen

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandroković thanked Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini for his personal engagement, as well as for the assistance from the Italian authorities and relevant services

The Crisis Directorate at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has kept close contact with the Croatian Embassy in Rome since April this year, when Italian tugboat Buccaneer was hijacked in the Aden Bay. Along with the notification about the release of the ship and its crew, it has informed the Croatian Embassy about the good health of all crew members and their current course for the Djibouti shore.
