The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the Republic of Zambia, Matko Županić, submitted his credentials to the president of the Republic of Zambia, Mr. Levy Patrick Mwanawasa.
On this occasion, Ambassador Župarić informed the president Mwanawsi about the relevant foreign policy goals of the Republic of Croatia and pending official application of the Republic of Croatia for admission to the EU.
On this occasion, and in the meeting with the Zambian MFA, Kalomba Mwansa, Ambassador Županić proposed cooperation between our countries in the economy, agriculture and tourism, as well as the opening of negotiations on economic and scientific cooperation.
Ambassador Župarić used the opportunity also to convey the invitations of the Croatian president, Stjepan Mesić, to president Mwanawasa, and of the Croatian MFA Picula to his counterpart Mwansa, to visit Croatia.
