Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman on Monday received the inaugural visit from Indian Ambassador Raj Kumar Srivastava

Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman on Monday received the inaugural visit from Indian Ambassador Raj Kumar Srivastava.

The two officials discussed bilateral relations between Croatia and India as well as the prospects of strengthening economic cooperation, notably in areas of maritime affairs, shipbuilding, pharmaceutical industry and medical protection. They also highlighted the potential for future youth cooperation by strengthening cooperation between universities and linking start-up companies.

In addition, Grlić Radman and Srivastava underscored the importance of strengthening the EU-India relations in light of the fact that India is one of EU’s strategic partners in Asia.
