Foreign and European Affairs Minister Gordan Grlić Radman 3 October 2019 received on inaugural visit the Ambassador of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to Croatia, Sithong Chitnhothinh.
The two officials underlined desire to boost the cooperation between Croatia and Laos, and intensify contacts. They highlighted the potential for strengthening the economic and trade ties. Grlić Radman cited the Port of Rijeka as a possible entry point for Laotian goods into Europe. Chitnhothinh expressed desire for the transfer of Croatia’s tourist expertise.
