Inaugural visit by Kuwait’s ambassador

State Secretary for Political Affairs Zdravka Bušić received on inaugural visit HE Rashed Alhajri, the newly-appointed ambassador to the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Croatia, seated in Prague.

The two officials underlined the friendly relations between Croatia and Kuwait, with no outstanding issues. Both countries are interested advancing the bilateral cooperation, notably in the area of economy.

Bušić said that Croatia had confirmed its commitment to the development of bilateral cooperation with Kuwait by opening an embassy there in 2017. In that regard, the state secretary voiced a wish that in the near future Kuwait would open a residential embassy in Croatia.
