Foreign Minister Miomir Žužul is paying a several days official visit to the Republic of South Africa
Foreign Minister Miomir Žužul left today, 16 August 2004, for a several days official visit to the Republic of South Africa, where he will be heading the Croatian delegation at the 14th conference of the Non-aligned Movement in Durban
Minister Žužul will hold bilateral meetings with members of the South African parliament and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the Conference, he will meet with numerous foreign ministers in the context of lobbying the Republic of Croatia for a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council 2008/2009.
Minister Žužul and South African Minister of Trade and Industry Mandisa Mpahlwa will sign the Agreement on Trade Co-operation between the Republic of Croatian and the Republic of South Africa. Assistant Foreign Minister Dražen Margeta and Deputy Culture Minister Ntombazana Botha will sign the Program on Cultural Co-operation between the Republic of Croatian and the Republic of South Africa. Minister Žužul will also meet with the South African businessmen in Johannesburg, as well as with the representatives of the Croatian expatriates in South Africa.
