FM Pejčinović Burić on working visit to Poland

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Marija Pejčinović Burić 4 June 2019 in Warsaw held talks with Poland’s Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz.

The two ministers discussed bilateral and European topics, with an emphasis on the EU enlargement. In that context, Pejčinović Burić announced the holding of an EU-SEE summit in Zagreb during Croatia’s 2020 Council of the EU presidency. Czaputovicz underlined Poland’s commitment to the European path of Southeast European countries, as evidenced by hosting a Berlin Process Summit in Poznan.

Pejčinović Burić and Czaputovicz also talked about global issues and the crisis of multilateralism, notably the challenges facing the Council of Europe.

During her visit to Poland, Pejčinović Burić also met with members of the Polish delegation to the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly.
