In her address, Pejčinović Burić expressed Croatia's deep concern about the escalation of the crisis in Ukraine, notably the current situation in the Sea of Azov and the escalation of tension. In that context, the minister reiterated the importance of respecting the Constitutional Court’s decisions on the implementation of election results in order to ensure equal status for all three constituent nations.

Pejčinović Burić wrapped up her address by commending the Italian presidency’s focus on the Mediterranean.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Pejčinović Burić held talks with Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov about possibilities for strengthening bilateral and economic relations.
