FM Pejčinović Burić attends Gymnich

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Marija Pejčinović Burić is attending the informal meeting of the EU foreign ministers (Gymnich)

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Marija Pejčinović Burić is attending the informal meeting of the EU foreign ministers (Gymnich), which is being held as part of Bulgarian presidency of the Council of the EU 15 and 16 February 2018 in Sofia.

The first day saw the ministers discussing the current events in Syria and preparations for the second conference on the future of Syria and its region, to be held in April in Brussels. They also reviewed further engagement with the countries of Southeast Europe following the recently published EU-Western Balkans Strategy and talked about the current situation regarding North Korea.
