On the second day of the Munich Security Conference, 15 February 2020, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman held talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. The two ministers underscored desire to advance cooperation between Croatia and Russia. Grlić Radman invited Lavrov to visit Zagreb late-April, which would be the first ministerial visit in more than 15 years.

Grlić Radman also met with Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Lichtenstein’s Foreign Minister Katrin Eggenberger, Slovenia’s Foreign Minister Miro Cerar, and Executive Director of the American Jewish Committee David Harris.

Grlić Radman and Cerar exchanged views on the topical EU matters such as the Multiannual Financial Framework, enlargement and the Zagreb Summit of May. To Eggenberger Grlić Radman outlined the priorities and planned activities of the Croatian presidency. With his Jordanian counterpart he talked about advancing the bilateral cooperation, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean as a link between the two countries.

As a member of the Prime Minister Andrej Plenković’s delegation, Grlić Radman attended meetings with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti and North Macedonia’s President Stevo Pendarovski.

Later in the day, Grlić Radman participated in a round table on the Three Seas Initiative.
