Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in the Republic of Slovenia reported that the crew of the Sol Trader, including five Croatian citizens, left the ship

Since December 2008, when the ship Sol Trader was detained in the Slovene Port of Koper, together with its crew members, the employees of the Consular Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Ljubljana have been monitoring the developments

Since December 2008, when the ship Sol Trader was detained in the Slovene Port of Koper, together with its crew members, the employees of the Consular Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Ljubljana have been monitoring the developments, visited crew members, and maintained contact with the Captain of Sol Trader, the Seafarer’s Union of the Republic of Croatia, the Koper Port Authority and, within the limits of their competences, with the competent Croatian and Slovene institutions.

Today the Embassy received confirmation that all five Croatia seafarers had left the ship. Within the limits of diplomatic and consular competences, the Embassy employees shall provide assistance in order to successfully resolve the controversy concerning the detention of the ship Sol Trader.
