Minister Jandroković welcomed the new Hungarian ambassador, especially in light of Hungary’s current EU presidency

Minister Jandroković welcomed the new Hungarian ambassador, especially in light of Hungary’s current EU presidency, thanking for the strong support during the negotiation process, particularly its final stages.

He expressed satisfaction over Hungary’s making Croatia’s EU accession one of the priorities during its EU presidency.

Ambassador Iván stated the other priorities as well, singling out the enhancement of the energy, agricultural and cohesion policy.

The collocutors agreed that the dynamics of the good-neighbourly relations between Croatia and Hungary could serve as an example to the rest of the region.

The meeting also discussed the coming ceremony marking Hungary’s EU presidency, to be held at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb and attended by numerous high officials from both countries, including Minister Jandroković.
