Minister Jandroković thanked for Sweden’s support during Croatia’s negotiations with the EU

Minister Jandroković thanked for Sweden’s support during Croatia’s negotiations with the EU, pointing out that by joining the EU Croatia would realize one of its most important foreign policy goals.

He informed the Swedish side about the current status of Croatia’s EU accession process, the plans to close the remaining chapters by the end of the Hungarian EU presidency, and the timeframe for the ensuing activities up to the day of accession.

The collocutors also exchanged opinions about the EU enlargement policy, agreeing that its further implementation was of extreme importance for the countries of South Eastern Europe, as well as for the stability of the European continent as a whole.
