They also agreed that the two countries maintained excellent multilateral cooperation as well.

Minister Jandroković thanked for Spain’s support for Croatia during its EU negotiation process, pointing out especially the period of the Spanish EU presidency, during which Croatia had opened all of the negotiation chapters.

Ambassador del Arenal communicated Spain’s strong support for the closing of Croatia’s negotiations as soon as possible and its acceding to the full-fledged EU membership.
