Minister Jandroković congratulated Ambassador Kickert on a successful mandate and thanked him for his personal engagement in advancing the two countries’ traditionally friendly and excellent bilateral relations. He once again expressed gratitude to Austria for the strong and continuous support it was showing Croatia along its path to the full-fledged EU membership.

Ambassador Kickert congratulated the Croatian government on completing the EU negotiations, as well as the progress achieved in the past few years. He also expressed firm belief that the friendly relations and cooperation between Croatia and Austria would only grow stronger once Croatia joined the EU.

In light of the fact that Austria is the leading foreign investor in Croatia, the officials expressed hope that economic cooperation too would further intensify in the future.
