The ministers discussed the future and EU perspective of the South East European countries, the current situation in North Africa and the Middle East, as well as the issues of interreligious and intercultural dialogue.

Minister Jandroković pointed out that the Euro-Atlantic perspective of all the countries of South Eastern Europe was important for the lasting stability of the region. In that regard, Croatia supports the further enlargement of the European Union and the accession of all those countries that meet the required criteria.

In regard to the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Minister Jandrokovć said that Croatia continued to strongly support its territorial integrity, sovereignty and the Euro-Atlantic perspective, as well as the quality of all three constitutive nations. He reiterated that Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor and President Ivo Josipović had earlier in a letter emphasized the importance of said issue in accordance with Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Constitution and the Dayton Agreement. He said that representatives of all three nations should participate in the government, while each party and their leaders should decide how to go about it. In that regard, Croatia will not interfere with the way in which the government of Bosnia and Herzegovina is formed, said Minister Jandroković.
