The Republic of Croatia pleads for the respect of the international humanitarian law and demands the cessation of battle activities and all forms of violence, especially the attacks on civilians.

As a country that is actively participating in the international efforts to prevent further civilian casualties in Libya, the Republic of Croatia welcomes the adoption of the UN Security Council Resolution 1973, which imposes a series of measures, including a no-fly zone over Libya.
