Deputy Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Joško Klisović 17 July received the outgoing ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark, Bo Eric Weber.

Klisović thanked for the support Denmark had been showing Croatia since its gaining of independence, emphasizing the importance of exchanging experiences with the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in regard to conceptualizing and implementing economic diplomacy as well as the mechanisms for improving the investment climate in Croatia.

Weber said that, as a member of the ECMM to Croatia in 1991 and counsellor at the Danish Mission to the UN in Geneva at the time when Croatia became a member of the UN in 1992 and during the 1993 International Conference on the Former Yugoslavia, he was satisfied because Croatia’s EU entry closed a circle. He added he had great confidence in Croatia as well as in partnership cooperation between Croatia and Denmark within the EU.
