Deputy Minister Joško Klisović 18 March held talks with Moroccan Housing and Urbanism Minister Mohamed Nabil Benabdallah on the advancement of the two countries’ economic cooperation

Deputy Minister Joško Klisović 18 March held talks with Moroccan Housing and Urbanism Minister Mohamed Nabil Benabdallah on the advancement of the two countries’ economic cooperation. The two officials also discussed the upcoming bilateral meeting of foreign ministers, to be accompanied by a meeting between business people, which should prompt regular meeting and networking between Croatian and Moroccan businessmen through economic forums, which the Moroccan side is very interested in.

Benabdallah invited Croatian and Moroccan business people to jointly appear on the Moroccan and other African markets, from Angola to Sudan, as Morocco considers Croatia as a partner equal to other European countries, he said.

Klisović invited Moroccan partners to use the port of Rijeka, which can serve as an entry point to a market of 100 million people in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. Benabdallah welcomed the idea, saying it was one of the most acceptable options for Morocco.

During his visit to Croatia, the Moroccan minister also held a series of talks on the transfer of Croatia’s experience and know-how in housing construction, urban growth, energy efficiency and civil society development.
