Delegation of Soroptimist International Kawasaki visited Croatian Embassy to Japan

The representatives of this women’s rights organization, headed by its President Ryoko Hori and Chairman of SIK International Committee Yuko Abe, were received by Ambassador Drago Štambuk, who took the opportunity to present Croatia’s natural and cultural wealth.

The SIK delegation included businesswomen, managers and advisors from companies of various profiles, who expressed a wish to cooperate with Croatia as part of their international activities and link with the counterpart organization from Zagreb. They also offered support for the Croatian students in Kawasaki and Japan.

Ambassador Štambuk invited them to attend the opening of the exhibition Croatian Monuments on the UNESCO World Heritage List,, which will move from Tokyo to Kawasaki, a city-friend of Rijeka, from June 1 to June 14, 2009.
