Croatian representative to CODEXTER Ranko Vilović elected its chairman
The Croatian representative to the Council of Europe’s Committee of Experts on Terrorism CODEXTER, Ambassador Ranko Vilović, was elected on 19 October 2007 in Strasbourg the chairman of this esteemed body
Ambassador Vilović was elected in personal capacity, but his election nevertheless represents another achievement of the Croatian diplomacy as a whole.
CODEXTER is a committee of experts in legal and financial matters pertaining to the war against terrorism, which co-ordinates the implementation of CoE activities in that area and works on identifying and intensifying additional priority activities in fighting terrorism, while at the same time protecting and promoting human rights and fundamental freedoms.
