Ambassador Jakša Muljačić handed credentials to Prince Alois of Liechtenstein

Croatian Ambassador Jakša Muljačić handed on 18 October 2007 in Vaduz, the Principality of Lichtenstein, the originals of his credentials to Prince Alois of Liechtenstein, officially assuming the duty of Croatian ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Principality of Lichtenstein, seated in Bern

The meeting held during the handing of the credentials saw the exchange of opinions on bilateral relations and current international issues, while Prince Alois congratulated Croatia on its membership in the UN Security Council and reiterated the traditional support for the realisation of Croatia’s foreign-policy goals.

The meeting with Prince Alois was preceded by a meeting with Liechtenstein’s Foreign Minister Rita Kieber-Beck, where Ambassador Muljačić presented Croatia’s foreign-policy positions and both sides expressed mutual interest for a further strengthening of co-operation between the two countries in all areas. Minister Kieber-Beck reiterated Liechtenstein’s position that Croatia has always been a part of the European circle, confirming support for Croatia’s Euro-Atlantic integration and congratulating it on its election as a non-permanent member of the Security Council.
