Croatian Embassy to Argentina and Buenos Aires Ministry of Culture co-organized literary evening with Croatian dramaturge and pedagogue Darko Lukić

The presentation of the works of the Croatian author, who, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, is taking part in the 7th Buenos Aires International Theatre Festival FIBA 2009, is a part of a larger project named Babel, la Biblioteca. Apart from Ambassador Mira Martinec and employees of the Croatian Embassy in Buenos Aires, the literary evening was attended by project manager Lauturo Vilo, representatives of the Letters Directorate of the Buenos Aires Ministry of Culture, and representatives of the National Theatre Institute, with whom continued cooperation on this and similar projects was arranged.

The Babel, la Biblioteca project strives to bring about a closer contact with drama texts from other countries, who are being read in their original language. In that way, the citizens of Buenos Aires are being offered a unique opportunity to experience select drama texts in 20 foreign languages at literary evenings held in several city libraries during the duration of the Festival.
