Croatian Embassy in London organized presentation of book Croatia in the Late Middle Ages and the Renaissance

The book, the second instalment of the Croatia and Europe project by the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, was presented by Flora Turner, a counsellor at the Croatian Embassy in London, Roland Jovanović Barolda, the editor and coordinator of the English edition, and Robin Harris, a British historian, writer and journalist

The book, the second instalment of the Croatia and Europe project by the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, was presented by Flora Turner, a counsellor at the Croatian Embassy in London, Roland Jovanović Barolda, the editor and coordinator of the English edition, and Robin Harris, a British historian, writer and journalist. Harris pointed out the importance of said edition for the presentation of Croatian identity, which also serves as an incentive for experts around the world to further explore the Croatian cultural heritage. He also noted the Croatian emigration’s valuable contribution to the promotion of Croatia abroad.

The populous crowd included British journalists, writers, art historians, museum workers, university professors, and publishers from London and Oxford.
