Croatian Ambassador to Cyprus Tomislav Vidošević handed credentials

The Croatian Ambassador to the Republic of Cyprus seated in Rome, Tomislav Vidošević, handed 7 June 2006 in Nicosia the originals of his credentials to Cyprian President Tassos Papadopoulos, officially assuming the duty of the Croatian ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Republic of Cyprus

Ambassador Vidošević communicated greetings by Crotian President Stjepan Mesić and Prime Minister Ivo Sanader, with both sides pointing out the friendly relations between the two Mediterranean and European states and nations. It was also pointed out that there are possibilities for enhancing the co-operation on all levels.

Ambassador Vidošević was also received by President of the Cyprian Parliament Demetris Christofias, and State Secretary at the Cyprian MFA Sotos Zackheos.
