Croatian Ambassador Ivan Picukarić handed credentials to Mauritian President Sir Anerood Jugnauth

Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia Ivan Picukarić handed on 24 May 2007 his credentials to the President of the Republic of Mauritius, Sir Anerood Jugnauth, officially assuming the duty of ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to the Republic of Mauritius, seated in Pretoria, the Republic of South Africa

Ambassador Picukarić and President Jugnauth exchanged information about the two countries’ foreign policy priorities and activities, and discussed the possibilities of their bilateral co-operation and co-operation within international organisations.

During his stay in Mauritius, Ambassador Picukarić also met with Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Co-operation Madan Murlidhar Dullo, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Anund Priyay Neewoor, Ambassador and Head of the Directorate for Bilateral Co-operation at the Ministry Wan Chat Kwong, and Secretary General of the Mauritian Chamber of Commerce Mahmood Cheeroo.
