Croatian Ambassador Drago Štambuk handed credentials to Korean President Roh Moon-Hyun

Croatian Ambassador to Japan Drago Štambuk handed on 24 March 2006 in Seoul his credentials to the President of the Republic of Korea, Roh Moon-Hyun, thereby assuming the duty of the Croatian non-residential ambassador to Korea

During the meeting, President Roh Moon-Hyun expressed his satisfaction with the rise of the bilateral relations and mutual trust between Korea and Croatia and the joy over the pending visit by Croatian President Stjepan Mesić and the Croatian business delegation to Korea. President Roh Moon-Hyun also showed interest in the reconciliation and dialogue process after the aggression Croatia suffered during the Homeland War, applauding Croatia’s recovery and the overall progress, since Korea itself has suffered great trauma and occupation in the past.
