The Croatian government submitted today, 11 November 2013, submitted its counter-memorial to the Arbitral Tribunal, which, in accordance with the arbitration agreement signed in November 2009, is the competent institution to resolve the border dispute on land and sea between Croatia and Slovenia. The counter-memorial was submitted today in the electronic form, while tomorrow, in accordance with the rule of the procedure, it will be submitted to the Tribunal’s Secretariat and the Slovenian side in printed form.

Croatia's counter-memorial consists of 10 volumes numbering more than 3600 pages. The main part, consisting of 370 pages, contains responses to Slovenia's claims on the sea and land boundary, while the remaining 3000 plus pages contain evidence and legal sources for Croatia’s positions.

Croatia's representatives at the Tribunal who are to defend Croatia's case are assistant foreign ministers Maja Seršić and Andreja Metelko-Zgombić.
