Croatia has successfully presented itself at the Tourist Fair in Johannesburg from 6 – 8 June 2003. The jury, composed of journalists of the Sunday Times, the distinguished Johannesburg weekly, awarded Croatia’s stand the second prize, in the competition of international exhibitors. The Croatian participation was organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Pretoria with the support of the Croatian Tourist Board.

The Tourist Fair in Johannesburg gathered over 70 exhibitors from South Africa and the world, including ten national tourist offices from South Africa. After winning the first prize last year, Croatia won the second prize this year for the stand in the international competition.
