Croatia has become a member of the Alliance of Civilizations Group of Firends

Alliance of Cilivizations was established in 2005 at the initiative of Turkish and Spanish governments and under UN patronage. Members are gathered in the Group of Friends comprising of 72 member states, various international organizations and UN bodies. Main AoC goal is to improve understanding and cooperation between nations and peoples of different cultures and religions, thus preventing further polarization and extremism in the world.
