Croatia harshly condemns terrorist attack in Lebanon

The Republic of Croatia strongly condemns the 27 December terrorist attack in Beirut that killed several people, including former Lebanese finance minister Mohamad Chatah, and left many wounded

The Republic of Croatia strongly condemns the 27 December terrorist attack in Beirut that killed several people, including former Lebanese finance minister Mohamad Chatah, and left many wounded. Croatia shares the international community’s concern over the security situation in Lebanon and supports the Lebanese authorities’ efforts in fighting terrorism and extremism. We call for the Lebanese political powers to overcome the current crisis in order to avert the violence that could have devastating consequences on peace and stability in Lebanon and the Middle East. Croatia expresses full support for the unity, stability and sovereignty of Lebanon.
