UN observers have confirmed that dozens of men, women and children were killed and hundreds were wounded in the cruel artillery attack launched by the Syrian regime against Houla.

The Republic of Croatia calls on the Syrian authorities and the opposition to cease any form of violence and offer full support to the UN monitoring mission. Croatia sympathises with the Syrian people and peaceful protests staged in cities throughout Syria to warn about the Houla massacre.
