The Republic of Croatia expresses grave concern over the 21 August attack near Damascus, in which chemical weapons are believed to have been used, and regrets the large number of killed and wounded. We deem that the use of chemical weapons is completely unacceptable and support the demands of the international community that the UN investigation team, which is already running an investigation based on earlier indications about the use of chemical weapons in Syria, be allowed access to the attack site so as to efficiently conduct an investigation into the use of chemical weapons and determine who is responsible.
