Croatia and Hungary mutually recognise COVID-19 vaccination certificates
Following the Hungarian government’s decision of 1 May 2021 to recognize negative PCR tests issued in Croatia for travelling to Hungary, the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade exchanged today diplomatic notes confirming the mutual acceptance and recognition of COVID-19 vaccination certificates
Following the Hungarian government’s decision of 1 May 2021 to recognize negative PCR tests issued in Croatia for travelling to Hungary, the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade exchanged today diplomatic notes confirming the mutual acceptance and recognition of COVID-19 vaccination certificates.
Vaccination certificates issued by the relevant bodies are mutually accepted and recognized, irrespective of the kind of the vaccine used. Certificate holders can travel between the two countries without being obliged to self-isolate or produce negative tests and will enjoy the same rights and access to services in the other country as the holders of national certificates, in accordance with national regulations.
