Croatia and Congo established diplomatic relations

The Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Congo established diplomatic relations on 10 May 2007 in New York

The Joint Communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations was signed on behalf of the Croatian Government by the Permanent Representative to the UN in New York, Ambassador Mirjana Mladineo, and on behalf of the Congolese Government by the Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Basile Ikouebe.

The setting up of the diplomatic relations between Croatia and Congo came about, pursuant to the Croatian Government’s Conclusions from 28 March 2007, after the diplomatic contacts and agreements that took place in April and early-May 2007.
