Australian Government changes visa issuing procedure for Croatian citizens

The diplomatic note that interim chargé d’affaires of the Australian Embassy to Croatia Natalie Roche handed on August 27th 2009 to Director for Extra-European Bilateral Cooperation Andrea Javor reads that the changes concern the cancellation of the form regarding military service, which has until now been a part of the Australian visa application. The cancellation is effective as of August 26th 2009.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration sent Australian Foreign Minister Stephen Smith a letter welcoming said decision by the Australian Government, which he believes will contribute to the further development of the bilateral relations and cooperation between Croatia and Australia.
