Attendees of Diplomatic Academy’s 12th One-Year Professional Diplomatic Course visited Vukovar

The program included a visit to Vukovar General Hospital, the Museum-Memorial Section of the barracks of the 204th Vukovar Brigade, the Ovčara Memorial and mass grave site, the Memorial Cemetery of the Homeland War Victims, the Church of St. Phillip and Jacob and the Franciscan Monastery, the memorial cross for those who gave their lives for Croatia, the birth house of Nobel Prize winner Lavoslav Ružička, the Eltz Castle, and the Borovo Commerce facility in Borovo naselje

During the visit to the Memorial Cemetery of the Homeland War Victims, Director of the Diplomatic Academy Mladen Andrlić laid a wreath on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.

The 12th generation of the One-Year Professional Diplomatic Course attendees is comprised of officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and other Croatian state administration bodies. The course started last year and entails five courses: the Croatian Course, International Relations and Policy, European Integration and NATO, Diplomacy and Diplomatic Skills, and International, Diplomatic and Consular Law. The lecturers come from the ranks of prominent Croatian and foreign diplomats, the academic and scientific community, and both Croatian and foreign political and public officials.
