Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ivica Tomić received on Monday, 22 May 2006, Abdulaziz Abdullah al-Duaij, the newly-appointed Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Croatia, seated in Prague, and Oscar Cabello Sarubbi, the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Paraguay, seated in Vienna
Ambassador Duaij handed the copies of his credentials to Assistant Minister Tomić and the two expressed satisfaction with the good relations between the two countries, with a mutual wish for their further development. Both sides also showed interest in tourist and economic co-operation.
Ambassador Cabello Sarubbi also handed the copies of his credentials, expressing wish with Assistant Minister Tomić for the intensification of the co-operation between the two countries, especially in science, education, culture, and sports.
