An exhibition of the Croatian-Australian painter Charles Billich was opened at the General Consulate of Croatia in Melbourne on 7 November 2003. The painter has for the first time exhibited his graphic collection of the portraits of 12 Croatian innovators, which he donated to the General Consulate of Croatia in Melbourne on the occasion, accompanied by Mr. Ivan Paić.
Mr. Charles Billich is a reputable painter in Australia and an owner of an art gallery in Sydney. Currently, he is the official painter for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and in 2000 he was the official painter of the Australian representation during the 2000 Olympics in Sydney.
