An exhibition of photographs has been opened in Dubrovnik...

On the initiative of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Croatia to UNESCO in Paris an exhibition of photographs of the protected natural locality of Scandola on the island of Corsica, listed by UNESCO among World Heritage, has been opened in Dubrovnik on 9 July 2003, in the showroom of the Department for the Restoration of Dubrovnik.

On this occasion, Mr. Stjepan Mesić, President of Croatia, received the delegation of Corsica headed by the French MP and Mayor of Ajaccio Mr. Simon Renucci, and the president of the association France-Croatia-Corsica, Mrs. Yolanda Tabak, accompanied by Mrs. Neda Ritz, Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to UNESCO, and Mr. Francis Bellanger, Ambassador of France to the Republic of Croatia.

The delegation was also received by Mrs. Dubravka Šuica, Mayor of Dubrovnik, the town on UNESCO's World Heritage List, which will soon be presented in a similar manner on Corsica.
