Croatian Ambassador to Serbia Gordan Markotić and his colleagues visited 29 February father Josip Špehar, guardian of the Bač Monastery of the Ascension of Blessed Virgin Mary. Špehar is in the Novi Sad University Hospital Centre, where he is successfully recovering from the robbery and assault on him which happened on Saturday night. Špehar recounted the unfortunate event, thanking the Croatian diplomatic representatives for their concern. According to the doctor, Špehar is recovering well and is expected to be released to home care soon.
