Ambassador Ivica Tomić opened an exhibition entitled “Međimurski pilovi” (Međimurje Roadside Crosses) by photographer Damir Klaić from Čakovec

At the opening of the exhibition, Cultural Attaché at the Embassy Mrs. Flora Turner introduced the author and his works. The exhibition consisted of enlarged photographs of krajputaša (roadside crosses) in Međimurje from the 17th to the 20th centuries, and a special edition of the monograph. The exhibition was organised, in cooperation with the Embassy, by the Croatian Students and Young Professionals Network (CSYPN), whose active members are not only Croats but also their British friends and business partners.
