A concert performance of the Dužijanci opera, authored by Mr. Josip Anrić, was held on 22 September 2003 in Subotica, organised in the cooperation of the General Consulate of the Republic of Croatia, the Osijek City Assembly and the Pučka Kasina 1878 organisation.

Although initially foreseen to be performed at the open scene in Palić, opera singers of the Osijek's Croatian National Theatre, the choir and the orchestra, under the leadership of conductor Mladen Tucavac, performed the opera in the Jadran Theatre.
