6th meeting of Croatia-Italy Coordinating Committee of Ministers

The Croatia-Italy Coordinating Committee of Ministers held its 6th meeting on Tuesday, co-chaired by the two countries’ foreign ministers, Gordan Grlić Radman and Antonio Tajani, with keynote address from Prime Minister Andrej Plenković.
 
The Committee comprises a number of departments of the Croatian and Italian government in charge of the sea, transport and infrastructure, economy and environment, agriculture, science and education, internal affairs, and culture.
 
It provides a framework for a continuous dialogue on various issues of mutual importance, as well as for interdepartmental cooperation and convergence of views on matters of joint interest.
 
On this occasion, Grlić Radman and Tajani signed a Joint Statement, agreeing on concrete steps to boost bilateral cooperation.
 
Ahead of the plenary session, said departments held bilateral meetings, including talks between the two foreign ministers, as well as Tajani’s meeting with Plenković.
