After the official opening of the Days of Croatian Cinema, Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the Republic of Macedonia, Ivan Kujundžić, expressed his satisfaction over the cooperation between Croatian and Macedonian film workers who were the organisers of that cultural event. He pointed out that this was a return visit, since Macedonia presented its cinematography in the Republic of Croatia two months ago.

Ambassador Kujundžić stressed that the cooperation between the two national cinematographies was a result of the Cultural Cooperation Programme that was signed the previous year by the Ministers of Culture of the two countries.

The opening ceremony of the Days of Croatian Cinema was attended, among others, by representatives of the Macedonian Ministry of Culture, diplomats, and representatives of Croats living in Macedonia.

During the Days of Croatian Cinema, from 25 to 31 May 2010, five feature films and two cartoons will be shown. The films will be shown in Skopje, Sveti Nikola, and Prilep.
