The parties rated the bilateral relations as excellent. They said that there were no open issues and that the cooperation on the parliamentary level was continually growing.

Minister Jandroković extended his gratitude to Germany and the parties CDU/CSU for their support on the Croatian path towards the full membership in the European Union.

Parliamentary floor leader Kauder said that Croatia can count on their full support for the completion of negotiations and for the accession in the European Union, as soon as this is possible.

In the part of talks dedicated to economic relations, Minister Jandroković stressed that German tourists are the most numerous foreign tourists in Croatia, that Germany is Croatia's second largest foreign trade partner, and that it is the third largest source of direct investments in Croatian economy.

Referring to the situation in the region, Minister Jandroković said that the Republic of Croatia was the leader of stability is South East Europe, and that upon the full membership in the European Union, it can become an even more important bridge between South East Europe and the European Union.

The parties concluded that other countries in the region must be provided with a clear Euroatlantic perspective.
